As You Like It Heating and Air Conditioning has over 60 years experience in installs.  We specialize in anything from residential to commercial installation.  As You Like It has installed the Heating and AC systems for several of the historical buildings in downtown Washington, D.C.  Our work can also be found in many of the systems located on the University of Maryland campus in College Park, MD, as well as countless homes in the MD, DC and VA area.  Like anything we do, As You Like It prides itself on the quality of our work.  We use custom sheet metal, produced out of our personal sheet metal shop for all of our ductwork.  We also use the most reliable dealers for all of our supplies.  With us, you'll be sure that our technicians took the time to make sure the job was done correctly and with the best product every time!

As required by any licensed mechanical contractor, all As You Like It Heating and Air Conditioning installs are permitted through your local city or county department of inspections.  We specialize in residential replacements including:  gas packs, packaged heat pumps, PTAC units, mini-splits, ductwork, humidifiers, zone systems, split heat pump systems, air purification systems, A/C and gas furnaces.  Every job is customized to your home to insure the system is tight, sealed and meets all building regulations!

1. CALL  Call As You Like It Heating and Air to schedule a technician to come out and evaluate your comfort needs and write a proposal.
2. EVALUATE  Evaluate our proposal for acceptance.
3. SCHEDULE  After accepting our proposal, call our office to schedule your installation.            

WARRANTIES:

• Typical manufacturer warranties are 5 years on all parts and 10 years on compressors and heat exchangers.  Warranties vary with manufacturer.
• As You Like It Heating and Air provides a 1 year warranty on all installation labor.
• Extended parts and labor warranties are available.
• Your proposal will provide specific warranty information.

WHY REPLACE OVER REPAIR?

• Parts are no longer available for your system.
• The equipment is no longer under warranty and the repair cost is over 50% of the value of the system.
• The system is inefficient by today's standards.  In 2007, to comply with new EPA standards, manufacturers began producing air conditioning systems with a minimum 13 SEER rating.
• An addition to your home may require a larger unit to accommodate heating and cooling the additional space.
